Ballistol Silicone Oil lubricates and protects rubber, plastic and metal parts on guns, and is particularly suited to CO2 and airsoft guns. It clings well, so it stays where you put it for a long time.
What it's for
- O-rings, seals and valves on gas and CO2 guns
- Gas magazines and blowback actions
- Keeping plastic parts supple, so they keep their original look and are less likely to dry out or crack
- Reducing friction and helping smooth reloading
- Use in cold weather, as it stays reliable at low temperatures
Around the house and car
The same properties that suit airsoft seals make Ballistol Silicone Oil a silicone lubricant for everyday rubber and plastic parts. It keeps rubber supple, so it does not dry out, crack or stick.
- Rubber door and boot seals on a car, so they are less likely to freeze shut in a frost
- Rubber gaskets on uPVC windows and doors
- O-rings and seals on garden hose fittings and pump sprayers
- Plastic parts that squeak or rub, such as sliding mechanisms and catches
Wipe the seal clean, apply a thin coat with a cloth, and buff off the excess. Keep it off floors, steps and paths, which it makes slippery, and off brake parts and windscreens.
How to use on airsoft and CO2 guns
- Put a drop on the gas magazine valve every few fills.
- Apply sparingly to seals, O-rings and moving parts.
- Keep it out of the inner barrel and off the hop-up rubber.
