Gunex Gun Oil

Gunex is Ballistol's gun oil for lubricating and protecting rifles, pistols and revolvers. It combines a blend of natural oils with a corrosion inhibitor, keeps mechanisms running smoothly and protects metal from rust and moisture.

A few drops spread over the metal, cutting friction and wear and lifting powder and tombac residues. Gunex also dissolves resin left by unsuitable oils. The protection holds in all climate zones, including the tropics.

What it's for

• The complete mechanisms of rifles, pistols and revolvers
• Protecting metal from rust and moisture, even in wet conditions
• Removing powder and tombac residues
• Fishing rods, telescopic pull-outs and barrels
• Moving parts, bright metal, screw joints and linkages exposed to salty air and splash water
• Squeaking, creaking or stiff joints, and stopping locks freezing
• Loosening resinous dirt and tar, and protecting metal and chrome parts
• Keeping battery, distributor and ignition coil contacts clean and free of damp and creeping water
• Motorcycle chains

Spray or bottle

The spray is quickest for coating a whole action or the outside of a barrel. The 100ml bottle is better for putting a drop exactly where it is needed, applying with a brush, filling an oiler or decanting into a pump atomiser. Both are the same Gunex gun oil.

Ballistol Gunex (Gun Oil):

• Providing long-term rust protection and metal preservation for firearms stored in damp conditions or safes.

• Lubricating moving action parts (bolts, triggers) for reliable use in extreme weather and temperature fluctuations.

• Dissolving tough, baked-on powder residue and preventing oxidation on bare steel components.
