The Ballistol Range Kit is a gun cleaning kit in a tough outdoor bag. Its five-part rod builds from about 18cm up to about 90cm, so one kit covers handguns, rifles and shotguns, and it comes with Ballistol, GunCer ceramic gun oil, Robla Solo MIL barrel cleaner, felts and tools.

What's in the kit

  • Five-part cleaning rod, approx. 18 to 90cm wiping length, with accessories from .22 calibre (rifles) to 12 bore (shotguns)
  • 50ml Ballistol spray
  • 30ml GunCer ceramic gun oil for lubricating all parts of the gun
  • 30ml Robla Solo MIL barrel cleaner
  • Ballistol cleaning felts, six each in .22, 7.5mm and 9.3mm
  • Cleaning-felt holder for the rod
  • Ballistol gun cleaning cloth
  • Disposable cloths: one Ballistol, one insect protection, one Animal Care Oil and one Neo Ballistol
  • Elongated mirror for looking into the barrel and cartridge chamber
  • Double-sided cleaning brush with sturdy nylon bristles
  • Outdoor bag with zip, compartments and belt loops

The cleaning rod

The rod has five metal sections. The first has a folding handle and a wiping length of about 18cm, and you can add up to four extensions to reach about 90cm plus the felt holder. Each section has a non-slip zone, so it is easy to tighten and loosen even with oily fingers.

With an adapter for 1/8 inch threads you can use standard 1/8 inch attachments, such as bristle brushes, wool wipers and bronze wire brushes from AKAH or other makers, and the large Ballistol felt holder for up to three felts.

The bag

The zip opens and closes from either side, with two thick cords as pulls. Inside there are 3 compartments and 11 fixing loops for cleaning kit, and enough room for extras such as a precision oil pen or other cleaning tools.
