Ballistol Gun Care Kits come in two versions. The Gun Care Kit in a hard case holds everything for cleaning and caring for an air rifle or firearm, and the Quick Bluing Kit is for touching up worn bluing.
Hard case kit: what's inside
- 200ml Ballistol Universal Oil spray for all-round use and maintenance
- 50ml Robla Solo MIL for removing copper and lead from barrels
- 50ml Balsin Stock Oil for protecting the stock from weathering and ageing
- 50ml Gunex Gun Oil for long-term lubrication and protection
- 50ml Cold Degreaser and 50ml chemical blueing to touch up worn areas or re-blue completely
- Brushes and a cloth
It all comes in a strong plastic carry case. It suits rifles, shotguns and air rifles, and makes a good present for anyone who shoots.
Quick Bluing Kit
For touching up worn bluing on barrels, actions and small steel parts at room temperature, with no heat or tanks needed. It is for repairing worn finish rather than routine cleaning. See our guide on how to cold blue a gun.
Good to know
- Neither kit includes a cleaning rod. Add a carbon cleaning rod in your calibre, or choose the Range Kit, which comes with a five-part rod for handguns, rifles and shotguns.
